Let's Weather The Storm Together card by Patty Folchert
This Birthday card can be made in
the wink of an eye, well almost. The secret is the brand-new Cut & Emboss
folder, this one has the Birthday theme and literally cuts and embosses at the
same time! The card begins with plain white cardstock run through the Cuttlebug
with the new cut and emboss folder. Next pick two complementary pattern papers
as a base and mat for the white embossed panel. Then select another pattern
paper as a backer for the embossed panel, for this card the palette was a crisp
summer theme of white, yellow, green and blue. Last a heart shaped epoxy
sticker was added for a finishing touch. These cards really do go together
quickly, you need to try our new Cut & Emboss folders!
As the sun sets these two puppies
cuddle on the lawn, so sweet right? This card shares the love with a Mama
Elephant stamp and die set of adorable puppies. The card begins with blending
three different distress inks to create the sunset effect. Then using a grass
die the ground piece was cut and adhered to the bottom in green pattern paper.
Next stamp the puppies and the heart onto gray pattern paper and use the
included dies to cut them out. Then add them to the card with 3D foam squares.
Last add the sentiment by stamping directly onto the card with black ink as
shown. The end result just makes me want to hug someone, perfect for sharing
via the mail.
