Let's Weather The Storm Together card by Patty Folchert

Once in awhile we just need a little card of encouragement. This mini card created with the new Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul collection is the answer with its subtle colors and sweet sentiment. This card is all about layers, select five coordinating patterns as shown. The gray dots paper is added to the white cardstock base first. Then the multicolor pattern is added in the center. Next the two triangles are added with some machine stitching for texture. Select your favorite bite size bit and stitch it to the center square pattern and adhere to the card as shown with 3D foam squares. The add the cute pea pods tab and pink heart as shown. This inspirational mini card that says “Let’s weather the storm together” is a wonderful way to encourage a friend in need. This collection is full of inspirational and encouraging sentiments, take a closer look at Spoonful of Soul- you won’t be disappointed!

Happy Birthday card by Patty Folchert

This Birthday card can be made in the wink of an eye, well almost. The secret is the brand-new Cut & Emboss folder, this one has the Birthday theme and literally cuts and embosses at the same time! The card begins with plain white cardstock run through the Cuttlebug with the new cut and emboss folder. Next pick two complementary pattern papers as a base and mat for the white embossed panel. Then select another pattern paper as a backer for the embossed panel, for this card the palette was a crisp summer theme of white, yellow, green and blue. Last a heart shaped epoxy sticker was added for a finishing touch. These cards really do go together quickly, you need to try our new Cut & Emboss folders!

Somebody Loves You card by Patty Folchert

As the sun sets these two puppies cuddle on the lawn, so sweet right? This card shares the love with a Mama Elephant stamp and die set of adorable puppies. The card begins with blending three different distress inks to create the sunset effect. Then using a grass die the ground piece was cut and adhered to the bottom in green pattern paper. Next stamp the puppies and the heart onto gray pattern paper and use the included dies to cut them out. Then add them to the card with 3D foam squares. Last add the sentiment by stamping directly onto the card with black ink as shown. The end result just makes me want to hug someone, perfect for sharing via the mail.
