Wishing You A Day Filled With Happiness card by Patty Folchert

Time to share some happy with this card. The stamped floral pattern in shades of blue is sure to impress. This card began with a plain white cardstock base and a multi-layer floral stamp set. The first layer of the flower is the petals and it was stamped in two different shades of blue a lighter and a medium. Then the outline layer of the flower set was stamped in the darkest shade of blue. The sentiment was then stamped in two shades of blue as well, the “wishing you” in the darkest blue ink and “a day filled with Happiness” was stamped in the medium shade of blue. That was all it took to create a simple yet elegant card full of happiness.

Thanks Flower Shaker card by Patty Folchert

If you need thank you cards why not make them bright and cheerful like this one? Here is a fun flower shaker card with the bright yellow and orange of a sunny day. This card begins with a flower shaker card base and the flower was stamped multiple times on base in buttercup yellow ink. Then the orange dot paper was added as a backer to the shaker portion and adhered to the inside of the card. Next the flower stem was stamped in leaf green ink and the flowerpot was stamped in cobalt blue ink. Both of those pieces were then die cut with this sets included dies in a Cuttlebug machine. The flower stem was then adhered to the card base as shown and the flowerpot was added using 3D foam dots to pop it up a bit. The thanks sentiment was stamped onto the orange dot paper in black ink. Then the fun part was adding the orange and yellow foam dots into the shaker insert, they add a playful touch by making the stamped message hidden.

Presto, a card full of sunshine and ready for delivery!

Hello Shaker Jar card by Patty Folchert

Just in time for May flowers we have a mason jar shaker card in cool blues and sunny shades of yellow. This card begins with the jar shaker card base and the flowers and hearts are stamped directly onto it in aquamarine and buttercup ink with the leaves stamped in leaf green ink. The thanks sentiment was stamped on the turquoise backer in grey ink and attached to the inside of the card. The tag is cut using the die that comes with this set. The mason jar and tag were then stamped in grey ink onto the card base and the tag. Then a blue heart was layered onto the tag with a foam square. Next is the fun of selecting the fillers, for this card I chose some of the new green and blue jewels and gold butterfly sequins. For the finishing touch a dark brown twine was added to the mason jar lid with the tag attached to it. The result is a mason jar bursting with a springtime bouquet!

The Best Day Ever card by Patty Folchert

Here is a card sure to arrive on the Best Day Ever!
This card has a bright green and purple color combo, perfect for spring. The card was made with a kraft card base that has green polka dots paper layered on as a front panel. Then the border strips were punched from plain white cardstock for a lace effect. The stamping is a multi-layer floral set that has been stamped in shades of purple onto white cardstock, the lighter as the petals and the darker purple as the outline. The leaves were stamped in two shades of green onto white cardstock and cut out and placed as shown. The berries were also stamped in a darker shade of purple. The flowers were adhered to the card front as shown with the center flower popped up with foam dots. The sentiment was then stamped in dark green onto white cardstock and cut out and adhered to card also with foam dots for extra dimension.
A pretty, yet simple card for your next “Best” day.
