Valentine Treat bags are a fun way to share the love this winter season. These were made with new Jillibean Soup Day 2 Day Planner stamp set, favor bags and Hampton Art tags.
Once again I chose a planner themed stamp set to use on the this project and stamped them onto the banner luggage tags. There are some really fun stamps in this collection, I used several as you can see. For the “I” tag I used the Noted, checkmark, frame and heart stamps. They were stamped in red or pink ink as pictured. The frame was stamped on white cardstock and then cut out so I could 3D foam dot it in the center and add the corrugated letter “I”.
For the “heart” tag I used the tomorrow, today, asap and 3 arrow stamps. In red and pink ink I stamped as shown. Then I added the corrugated heart with a planner clear sticker that says “a special day.”
Last I did the “U” tag using pink and red inks with the following stamps: This week, paperclip and pushpin. The frame was stamped on white cardstock and then cut out so I could 3D foam dot it in the center and add the corrugated letter “U”.
To make the red tag backers I simply traced the existing tags and cut them out of red cardstock. Then to create the embossed favor bag I grabbed an embossing folder and ran the bags through the Cuttlebug. Last I hole punched the red tags and the bags and looped the bakers twine through them and tied in bows. All that was left was to add a treat to the bags, red licorice was a tasty choice I think. ;)
So just another example of how to stretch your planner supplies beyond the planner. Happy Valentine Planning to you!
Share the Love,
Patty Folchert

February 14th card by Patty Folchert
One of my favorite card making holidays is right around the corner. That’s right, Valentine’s Day! Nothing says Happy Valentine’s day quite like a handmade card. This card was actually made using some unlikely supplies too, brand new Jillibean Soup Day 2 Day planner supplies, stamps & papers.
The base was covered with new hearts and pink paper from Jillibean Soup Bowl of Dreams as shown with two border strips at the top and the bottom. Next I grabbed the chipboard heart tag and using my planner washi tapes covered it as shown trimming the edges at the end. Then using a border punch I punched out the lace borders from white cardstock.
And added as shown. To dress up the bottom lace border I used one of my planner stamp sets- small heart stamp in pink ink as pictured.
Using the same stamp set I chose the banner stamp and using pink ink stamped it onto white cardstock. Then using gray ink I stamped the “February 14” inside the banner. Then lining up where the heart would be placed I marked the edges so that I could stamp the arrow ends from the stamp set in gray ink. Then I added the heart using a tape runner adhesive. Last I added the banner piece with 3D foam dots.
I don’t know about you, but my planner stamp sets just became a lot attractive. Consider the possibilities of your planner supplies and give them a try on your next card.
Valentine Wishes,
Patty Folchert

Warm Winter Wishes card by Patty Folchert
New Year greetings to you and your families. This is the time of year when I love to head to my cozy studio and craft away the day while the snowflakes fall outside. That is how this card came about in fact, created with new Hampton Art/Jillibean Soup wood block stamps by Cam & Chloe.
Warm Winter Wishes card by Patty Folchert
A powder blue cardstock is the base for this card. Next I stamped snowflakes directly onto it with turquoise ink and then again with gray ink as shown in photo. Then using a plain white tag, I stamped the turquoise off once and then onto the white tag for the two snowflakes. Over the snowflakes using black ink I stamped the sentiment so it would stand out. To add some extra color I added the wide satin ribbon in gray across the bottom as shown. Next I wrapped some cotton twine around the tag several times and tied in a bow. The tag was then added using 3D foam dots.
Then it needed some embellishment, so I added pearls in white and gray and I also added some silver sequins. That seemed to do the trick, shimmering snowflakes were the end result.
Warm winter wishes from my family to yours, happy creating!
Stay Cozy,
Patty Folchert

Warm Winter Wishes card by Patty Folchert
Some more winter wishes headed your way, this time in shaker mode. That’s right add a brand-new Hampton Art Clear Stamp set to some brand new Jillibean Soup papers and embellishments and you have a sparkling winter wonderland card.
This card begins with a light gray cardstock base. The best part about the shaker system by Jillibean Soup is that you can use all the components separately too. With this card, I only used the shaker large circle shape with some of the new fillers- Jewels and Sequins. Using the shape as a template I traced around it with a pencil onto the paper I wanted to use as the backer. Then I added the fillers to the inside of the shape, removed the adhesive strip around the circle shape and attached it to the backer. Next I selected the two turquoise papers as background mat and border strip as shown.
After that I punched a border strip from white paper and I added the border punched strip above the other two papers as shown for contrast. Then I attached the circle shape placed as pictured to the card base. Last I stamped the Hampton Art Deco tag using two inks, turquoise & gray creating the sentiment, warm winter wishes.
I am really loving the cool hues of this card and the new shaker fillers, what do you think? Is this a winter card you would be proud to send out? The great news is that this stamp set has 13 different sentiments to choose from, several for making Christmas cards too.
Stay Warm,
Patty Folchert
