A chalkboard tag takes center stage on today’s card. It features a new Hampton Art stamp set and Jillibean Soup paper. The designs were a bit busy so I kept the card itself very simple.

With Much Love by Patty Folchert

This new stamp set features more of the coloring book theme, but I wanted to take it in a different direction today and crate a chalkboard like tag. To do that I stamped the image in white ink onto the black tag centering the design to the tag. Then I set it aside to dry. Next I stamped the sentiment in black ink onto white cardstock and cut out as shown.

I searched my stash for just the right floral paper and this one from Jillibean Yellow Pepper Saffron Soup collection was perfect for the bird design. I cut out a basic mat and added it to my white card base as the background. I did stitch around the design as shown with my sewing machine for a bit of added texture. Last I added a vintage gold twine bow and attached the tag and the sentiment with 3D foam dots.

I actually really like how this one turned out and it is always fun trying something new. So what have you been working on, we would love to hear about it. Leave us a comment anytime we enjoy hearing what is on other crafters tables on any given day.
