Just
wanted to share a fun way to use the new favor bags from Jillibean Soup and
turn them into gift card holders. I have done two of these projects for this
month and this is the first one. This one is a thank you type gift card holder
using the white favor bag with gold foil dots and some new Healthy Hello
papers.
Thanks Love gift card holder by Patty Folchert
I
began with the favor bag and arranged the vellum alpha tiles to spell out love,
using a heart instead of the letter “o”. I added the pink pattern paper (Hint
of Hello) as a mat backer to the alpha tiles and attached them to the favor
bag. Then I chose a new soup label sticker “thanks” and added it to the bag
with 3D foam dots as shown.
Then
I made the inside card to fit inside the favor bag using new Healthy Hello Bite
of Bonjour. I corner rounded the top two corners and stamped the sentiment in
brown ink onto plain white card stock. Then I cut out the sentiment and added
the pattern paper mat backer from Healthy Hello, Cup of Ciao. Then I grabbed my
Basic Grey Notch & Die cutting tool and cut the tabs to hold the gift card
in place as pictured.
Last
just add your favorite new wood veneer clothespin, I chose the rose. Then all
that is left is to add the desired gift card.
That
is how you dress up one of the new wedding bags and say thank you in style. Be
sure to check back to the blog, another variation of this project is coming
soon.
Thankful,
Patty
