So
I promised a part 2 variation of the original gift card holder project. This
one uses the new Healthy Hello papers again but very different color palette
and a hello theme. The Healthy Hello clear stamp is used for the inside card
verse.
I
began with the favor bag and arranged the denim alpha tiles to spell out love,
using a heart instead of the letter “o”. I added the yellow gingham pattern
paper (Aged Aloha) as a mat backer to the alpha tiles and attached them to a
floral mat this time. Then I chose a new soup label sticker “hello” and added
it to the bag with 3D foam dots as shown.
Then
I made the inside card to fit inside the favor bag using new Healthy Hello Jar
of Jambo. I corner rounded the top two corners and stamped the sentiment in
brown ink onto plain white card stock. Then I cut out the sentiment and added
the pattern paper mat backer from Mushroom Medley, Morels. Then I grabbed my
Basic Grey Notch & Die cutting tool and cut the tabs to hold the gift card
in place as pictured.
Last
just add your favorite new wood veneer clothespin, I chose the blue dot
butterfly for this one. Then all that is left is to add the desired gift card
into the notches and slide the inner card back into the bag.
So
now you have two ways to dress up the new wedding bags and casually say hello
with this variation. This project really does has endless combination
possibilities for any occasion, so just have fun with it.
Enjoy
your Day,
Patty
