Summer greetings all! A rustic mason jar bouquet card to make someone
smile is on the agenda today. This new stamp set from Hampton Art is full of
possibilities, so easy to pair up with most any Jillibean Soup collection.
Smile card by Patty Folchert
I started with an ivory card base and layered on some Soup Staples
III wood floor for a rustic appeal. Next I stamped the mason jar and bouquet in
brown ink onto a pale blue cardstock as shown. Then I stamped the heart jar
label onto Soup Staples III kraft triangles paper in brown ink as well. Next I
fussy cut out the stamped pieces and layered them together with 3D foam dots.
For some added texture I grabbed some plain cotton string and wrapped top of
the jar and tied a bow. Then I added them to the card base centered on the
front with 3D foam dots. Last I added the smile wire word to the bottom front
as shown.
The finished card has a simple rustic elegance I think. But what do
you think? Leave a comment and let me know if you like the card.
Smiles
welcome,
Patty
