Hello Layout by Patty Folchert
I began with a sketch I found online then I proceeded to put together my patterns. Once I had the combination I was happy with I machine stitched the diagonal pieces, including the kraft paper tape across the top. Next I stamped in black the flowers onto the background and stamped the other accents in black ink onto plain white cardstock and then fussy cut them out to add back onto the page. The “today” and “documented” stamps were stamped in black ink directly onto stickers from the coordinating sticker sheet.
The photo was double matted onto vellum and then a coordinating pattern paper. After that I began to place the cutouts and stickers around photo as shown. Placing the “hello” diecut directly onto the photo seemed to work well. My favorite part of this layout is the journaling, it makes me smile.
