Hello! Britt Bass here today sharing with you a trendy card set I made using sentiment stamps from a Jillibean soup stamp set with Clearsnap pigment ink and Smooch spritz.
Trendy cards by Britt Bass
I saw a tutorial about creating those pretty little wired paper feathers and I thought my feathers came out so cool and trendy, I wanted to pair them with other trendy elements (ex. Chevron, misting, etc.).
First, I created my card backgrounds. I used a chevron stencil and masked it off with a piece of cardstock with a rectangle cut from the middle. I layered black and a little silver spritz and then used the black and some opaque white ink to create splatters across the card.
I achieved the circles across the front of the second card by painting the bottom of the opaque white bottle with black mist and using it as a stamp! I then added some of that same spatter of spritz and ink across the second card front as well.
I stamped my sentiments, trimmed them and used my handmade feathers, a rolled rose, and a little glitter paper to create some anchor spots for my sentiments to sit. I finished off the cards with a little more mist, sweet little bling, and some hemp cord.
