Layouts by Patty Folchart, Gini Williams Cagle and Beverly Sizemore

So happy to share my first layout using the brand new Jillibean Soup Cold Avocado Soup papers and stamp set. I wanted to showcase some recent photos from our camping trip and the beautiful colors found in this collection were the perfect complement.
Mohican State Park by Patty Folchart

I stuck with a simple layout design that allowed for 6 photos. The floral paper was my favorite so I used it with the diagonal stripe as the main base papers. Then I added three border strips the lt. turquoise grid, navy diagonal stripe and the large dandelions which I detail cut with decorative small scallop scissors. I inked the edges of the dandelion strip and attached it with foam dots. Then I created the large green banner pieces adding the title to the right side with two different alphabet sticker sheets.  The small navy polka dot paper was used for the photo mat and I rounded the outer corners. I made the center yellow mat and added the navy floral print border and banner pieces. Then I got to play with the stamp set, I stamped the journal arrows, favorite place symbol and center floral arrangement onto patterned paper from the same collection. They were all stamped in brown ink. Finally I added some pearls and gemstones to dress them up a little and the badge sticker saying of “Life is Good”.

So a fun outdoor layout for all those double layout fans, hope you enjoyed it.
Craving Guacamole,
Patty

3 bright and colorful cards by Laurel Seabrook

Butterfly Kisses, Butterfly Wishes card by Laurel Seabrook

The colors and patterns of the Sweet Tart collection are so country to me.  I just love the gingham, the blue and the yellow.  I fussy cut the butterflies from one of the pattern papers, I love that they are already glittered.

Celebrate and Smile cards by Laurel Seabrook

I love the bright, happy colors and patterns in this Card kit.   I love how quickly and easily these cards came together.  One tip I have is, don’t be afraid to cut apart stickers.  On the Celebrate card, I have cut both the label and cupcake stickers apart and by doing so, I was able not only to come up with a unique layout on my card, I still have one cupcake left for another project!

Layers and beautiful cards by Patty Folchart and Vivian Keh

Need a card to share an Oh So Happy message? Maybe a card saying you are so happy for someone’s recent success or maybe just a beautiful card to say you are oh so happy to be their friend. Then this is the card for you and it is all about lots of layers and lots of stamping!

Oh So Happy card by Patty Folchart

To create this card I grabbed some Echo Park stamp sets and Echo Park papers. I selected a coral damask card base and added a wide strip of vintage music sheet in the center of the card distressing the edges. Then I added a ruler border strip under that one. Next I added the inventory tag after I had tied a double bow with some vintage metallic gold twine. Then I started stamping onto patterned paper the flowers in red ink and the vines and smaller flowers with aqua ink.  I fussy cut them all out and added them in layers as shown. Then using the notebook paper I made a sentiment tag with ticket stub corners. I stamped the sentiment in red ink as well and added some red sequins for a little bling. Then I grabbed some buttons and added those to the large flower centers and some light blue sequins inside to finish them off.
So for a card that sings happiness to its recipient give this one a try!

Happy to Share,
Patty

Chalkboard Effect Card
Hello, Hampton Art friends!  Vivian Keh here today to share a card that follows an uber hot trend in the papercrafting world right now - chalkboard effects!  For my card, I paired Hampton Art/ Authentique "Footloose" IC0233 Cling Stamps with Clearsnap Frost White Pigment Ink, and did everything on color core cardstock from Core'dinations' "Black Magic" Collection - perfect for chalkboard!
Footloose & Fancy Free card by Vivian Keh

I felt this vintage inspired stamp collection would be perfect for chalkboard!

Sanding the edges of this cardstock reveals colors exactly like the chalk colors with which we are all familiar.

Inking up the stamp somewhat unevenly gives the project an authentic chalkboard feeling - no need for a perfect impression!  Doodling with a white gel pen also helps create the chalkboard effect.  I hope I was able to inspire you to give the chalkboard effect a try - it's so easy!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut all card pieces from Core'dinations "Black Magic" Cardstock, paper punching the central square and horizontal band, and sanding edges of all pieces.
2. Stamp imagery and sentiment with white pigment ink - remember pigment ink is slow drying.  So you can speed it up with a heat tool.
3. Use white gel pen for extra details.
4. Add eyelets.
5. Adhere all pieces together, and add small floral embellishments.
SUPPLIES:
Hampton Art - Authentique "Footloose" IC0233 Cling Stamp Set
Core'dinations - "Black Magic" Colorcore Cardstock
Clearsnap - Frost White Pigment Ink
Martha Stewart - Punch Around the Page
Fiskars - scallop and floral paper punches
Sakura - White Gelly Roll Pen

Thinking of You card by Nicole Nowosad and Birthday card by Patty Folchart

Good morning everyone! I am happy to be back to share fun card, using lots of Hampton Art stamps.

Thinking of You card by Nicole Nowosad

I started this card by stamping the script pattern onto some white cardstock, slightly overlapping the design:

I then added some stamped butterflies in varying colors and then stamped a secondary background with the “butterfly wishes” stamp from Jillibean Soup.

Supplies:
Graphic 45 Cling Stamps – IC0215, IC0218
Authentique Cling Stamps -IC0231
Jillibean Soup – Chilled Cucumber Soup- JB0040

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The idea for this card began with the Echo Park Wooden Nickel paper.  I thought it would make a nice masculine birthday card so I stuck with a manly color palette.

Happy Birthday card by Patty Folchart

Using a circle punch I chose three of the coins from the paper and punched them out. To begin this card I chose a teal damask print for the base and then added the distressed paper border strips vertically as shown. I distressed the wider border strip.

Then I added the punched circle coins, popping up the center one with foam dots. Then I reached for the Echo Park Scoot set and stamped the Happy Birthday stamp onto the grid paper with turquoise ink and stamped two of the triangles in the same ink. I then fussy cut the pieces and inked the edges. The sentiment was added to the center coin and the triangles were added with foam dots to the top and bottom of the card as shown. That was it, a quick and simple card.

The best part about this card was that the papers I used were from a feminine collection, just shows how with a little thought you can make any paper collection do what you want it to.

Awaiting a Celebration,
Patty

Hello!  Leanne here today to share how versatile the Bella Blvd stamp in the Love and Marriage collection are.

A Note For You ... card by Leanne Allinson

I adore the wedding dress image in the stamp set, but as I was admiring it, I realized it didn't have to be a wedding dress.  I stamped the image onto plain white cardstock and then shaded it with my gelatos.  I used a silver/gray and blue combination for the dress and made the flower pop with a bright yellow.  This simple card will be a perfect accompaniment with a graduation or even birthday gift.

Stunning tags and card by Vivian Keh

Hello, Hampton Art fans!  Vivian Keh here with a very easy card to share.  I used the Hampton Art/ Echo Park SC0528 "Scoot" Clear Stamp Set, which is great for boy projects, but also adorable for well wishing someone onto a new chapter in life.  There are a number of great graphic sentiments in the set, too, for birthdays and congratulations - definitely a loaded set.
Up, Up & Away card by Vivian Keh

There is also  a dash marked line stamp in the set, which saves oodles of time when we decide to include those in our projects!  For my card, I began by spritzing a sky.

Wherever there was a clearing, I stamped a cute helicopter. Then I stamped my sentiment and dashed lines.

Thanks for visiting with me here today!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Spray your choice of mists onto a piece of watercolor paper and allow to dry.
2. Stamp imagery and sentiment.
3. Apply distress ink to edges.
4. Adhere to card base.
SUPPLIES:

Tattered Angels - Sheer Mist
Lindy's Stamp Gang - Starburst Mist
Ranger - Distress Ink
Memento - Dye Ink
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have y'all seen too many tags from me?  I may have mentioned last month how much I adore the tag format.  This month, I played a bit more with tags, utilizing the Hampton Art/ Echo Park SC0528 "Scoot" Clear Stamp Set to create the fresh and modern Happy Birthday tag shown here.
Happy Birthday tag by Vivian Keh
Instead of using the dashed line stamp as a border, I used it to create vertical movement in my composition.  I also used the triangle stamp from the set for some sharp, bold interest.

In addition, I clear heat embossed circles using a woodblock stamp from Hampton Art, DF2194 Lg Circle.

I intentionally stamped imperfectly, doing a partial emboss as I just love it when mists pool in the spaces left from an imprecise impression.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut tag out of watercolor paper.
2. Stamp circles with watermark ink, sprinkle with clear embossing powder, tap off excess, and heat with heat tool.
3. Mist with your chosen combination of mists.
4. Stamp sentiment, dashed lines, and triangles.
5. String organza through the hole at the top of the tag and heat for funky twists.
SUPPLIES:
Hampton Art/ Echo Park - SC0528 "Scoot" Clear Stamp Set, Hampton Art DF2194 Lg Circle Woodblock Stamp, a la mode clear embossing powder

3 Amazing layouts by Nicole Nowosad, Leanne Allinson and Gretchen McElveen

Today, I am sharing with you a quick layout, made using lots of KI Memories products! It all starts with this amazing Lace cardstock background paper:

Sunshine layout by Nicole Nowosad

I chose a few words from the paper and added some patterned paper strips in behind them by cutting them down and adhering to the back of the lace cardstock.

Next, I added a ruffle sticker to the inside of one of the decorative edges of the lace cardstock and ruffled it up:

Next, I stamped a few embellishments, using the Bella Blvd. Kiss Me stamps and added them over the stickers on my page:

Hi Everyone!  It's Leanne here today to share with you some leaf to feather inspiration.  Feathers have been a trend in scrapbooking for a little while now and I thought I would join in with the craze.  However, I didn't really have anything in my stash the would suffice until I spied the Echo Park Sweet Girl (IC0524)clear stamp collection. Together with the leaf/branch image, some acrylic paint and paint brush I created my own peacock feathers.

Peacock Zoo by Leanne Allinson

I started by loading my paint brush with navy acrylic paint and applied it to the centre of each leaf.  Working quickly and using a peacock feather as reference, I added the other blues, greens and gold to the rest of the clear stamp.

The next step is a little bit of trial and error.  Gently apply the stamp to white cardstock.  Don't apply too much pressure as the paint will mix together instead of creating a soft image.  Allow to dry completely before fussy cutting the "feathers" and adhering to your layout.

supplies:
stamps:  Authentique Keep Me Posted (IC0231); Echo Park Sweet Girl (SC0524)
ink: Close To My Heart (chocolate, lagoon, sweet leaf)

patterned paper: Lily Bee, My Mind's Eye.
other: cardstock; Sassafras stickers, staples, acrylic paint, glitter thickers, Greatest View badge/flair.

Hi there! Gretchen here with a layout to share with you using some of the very pretty KI Memories Vintage Charm collection.

I combined the Vintage Charm with the Mini Celebrations We are Family patterned paper and ruffled stickers. These 2 collections work really well together! I used the “B” side of the “Carte Postale” patterned paper (it looks like notebook paper!) as the base of the layout. Then I added a sheet of the “Musical Hearts” lace cardstock on top of it. I adore the look of the hearted lace paper as the background of a page!

After creating the base for the layout, I built the rest of the layout from there. I added a little more patterned paper, a single picture, journaling strips, ruffled stickers, some string, and several punched butterflies to complete the layout. Thanks for looking!
