It's all about the babies and the moms!

Hi, it’s Gini with you to share a spring layout that I created with a picture of my mother years ago – and a recent photo of me. The KI Memories Doily Dance transparency and the Hampton Art licensed 7gypsies Butterflies stamp set added a light and airy mood.
Like Mother Like Daughter layout by Gini Williams Cagle
Supplies:
Patterned Papers: Doodlebug Hello Spring Collection
Cardstock: WorldWin Papers
I wrote my journaling on washi tape using a sharpie pen, and attached it to ribbon – then machine stitched to hold in place.  The ribbon was secured on the original packaging spool and was hidden beneath a doily flower.  To make the spool spin, I took a small piece of plastic tubing and adhered to the page. (Mine was actually the small dental suction straw used in my day job.)  It has wire running through it – I cut away the tube at the bottom leaving a length of wire protruding .  I punched a small hole in the cardstock, and bent the wire to the underside and added a little glue to secure it.  The same effect could be created using a drinking straw, with a length of wire hot glued to the inside.
I then put the journaling spool on the straw.
At the end of the journaling strip, I tied a bow and added a decorative pin through the center knot.  I cut out an acetate doily and glued to the top of the straw.  You can see the journaling revealed, by unrolling the spool.
To hide the journaling, roll back onto the spool, and tuck the pin underneath the bottom portion of the spool.

Hi everyone, Laurel here with a Baby Shower party favor.  I used my Cricut to cut out all the elements and rather than create a card I used it to make a party favor box.  To jazz it up a bit I added some ruffled vintage seam binding around the legs.

Hello!!! Pam here today to share with you a card I created mixing a couple of different Hampton Art licensed Echo Park stamp sets.

Bundle of Joy card by Pam Brown

For this card, I mixed and matched the Bundle of Joy girl AND boy stamps. I took the rattle from the Bundle of Joy girl stamp set and used my watermark ink to create very subtle images on the pink patterned paper. I then took the Bundle of Joy sentiment from the boy stamp set and stamped it with orange ink on white cardstock, cut it out, and adhered it with foam adhesive to make the sentiment stand out a little more.

Celebrate Layout and Snap Tags by Shannon Tidwell and Britt Bass

Shannon Tidwell here today to share a KI Memories layout using Mini Celebrations! What a cheerful page the birthday papers and embellishments make! I cut the Birthday Banner Ruffle Paper and used it as a border at the top and bottom of my page. The Happy Birthday Double-Sided Cardstock has so many goodies on it that I was able to piece the page together mostly just using that one sheet of paper! For a little extra sparkle I used the Sprinkles Bejeweled Paper as a backdrop for the page.

Oh Snap! Camera Bag Tags

Hi there Hampton fans!  It is Britt Bass here, sharing a cute and functional project with you using Hampton Art liscensed stamps, embossing powder, and Clearsnap pigment ink and watermark ink.

I recently got a brand new Nikon D3100 and I am in LOVE!  I went all-out and got the big case and everything, so I wanted a crafty way to decorate it, but also a functional ID tag in case my 'baby' were ever to be lost (heaven forbid!).  When I saw the Echo Park 'Oh Snap!' stamp set I knew it would be perfect!
Oh Snap tags by Britt Bass

I stamped the doily image, the "smile" sentiment, and the "Oh, Snap" image with Clearsnap pigment ink and fussy cut them.  I used some markers to add a little color to the camera image and a border around the "smile".  I laminated them and added gromlets.

I used a chipboard camera as a template and cut the large camera image from cardstock.  I heat embossed the entire camera surface twice in order to get full coverage.  I added the stamped camera image and scalloped circle to create the "lens".

On the back I added my name, address, and phone number.  I laminated the whole thing and added a gromlet.  I strung all the tags onto a re-purposed clip (from an old purse) and presto - it was finished and ready to hang on my precious new camera bag!

Supply List:
Stamps:
Hampton Art for Echo Park: Oh, Snap!

Inks & Embossing Powder:
Hampton Art Embossing Powder: Red
Clearsnap Pigment ink for Doodlebug Design:
Clearsnap Pigment ink: Black

Other Supplies:

Loads of inspiration!

Over the next few weeks you are going to see a ton of great projects created by the Hampton Art design team, for you! Don't miss out! - kimber

It is Gloria with you again today. Don't faint...but I did a scrapbook page! This photo was taken at my family home in central Pennsylvania. The last time we visited my childhood home was 2009. The property has since been sold, which makes me so happy my husband took some amazing photos for me when we were there!

1.  Using various inks and stamps, create a collage background on kraft cardstock. Allow to dry.
2. Spray kraft cardstock with various spray mists. Allow to dry.
3. Trim kraft cardstock to 11 7/8 x 11 7/8 inches and attach to 12 x 12 inch black cardstock with strong adhesive.
4. Spray white paper doily with kiwi spray mist. Allow to dry and attach to the upper center of the kraft cardstock.
5. Trim photo to 8 x 5 1/2 inches and mat with black cardstock. Attach to kraft cardstock approximately 2 1/2 inches from the top and 2 inches from the left edge.
6. Cut flourish from green cardstock. Attach flourishes and paper flowers to the top right edge of the photo as shown.

7. Stamp the A Good Thing sentiment onto white cardstock with black ink. Smudge the cardstock with several shades of brown chalk ink. Trim to approximately 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 inches.
8. Trim black cardstock into a tag shape, approximately 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. Attach the sentiment to the cardstock tag and attach to the right edge of the page layout with foam tape.
9. Glue a clip to the top of the tag.

10. Tie green satin ribbon into a bow and glue to the clip. Attach a small flower to the center of the bow.
11. Cut another flourish from green cardstock. Attach flourish and paper flowers to the lower left edge of the sentiment as shown.

12x12 Layout - Chalkboard Technique Pocket Page

By Gloria Stengel

To create this layout I used a chalkboard technique. I stamped the month images onto black cardstock with Watermark ink. I then embossed with white embossing powder. I rubbed white ink over the paper to add a  "dirty chalkboard" look.

I stamped some images with white pigment ink, including over-stamping some of the months to create a shadow. I used a white pencil to add some smudges and detail to the page.

I trimmed the paper in half and created a pocket to hold photos.

I added a punched border to the top of the pocket to mimic dripping paint.

I mounted each photo onto cardstock, and then placed a tab with the month stamped onto it at the top of the photos. Each month of the year, you can add your favorite photo to the pocket. The pocket page is mounted to white cardstock and chipboard for sturdiness. This is a project that I would place into a holder and sit on a desk or table rather than place into a scrapbook.

Supply List:

Hampton Art Stamps:
7 Gypsies: Months (#IC0236), Blessed (#IC0193), Very Beautiful (#SC0502), Steampunk

Well hello, Hampton Art fans!  Vivian here today with a card very much inspired by the sea.  We have some fabulous nature inspired stamp sets produced with 7 Gypsies.  Since most of my work is inspired by nature, these are stamps I will turn to again and again.  These sets in particular make me yearn to go snorkeling on a tropical escape!
Oceans card by Vivian Keh
I used mists to create a watery background.

I intentionally softened the stamping so that the some of the sea creatures would appear the way they do when ocean waves distort them.
But I chose to stamp the fish and text crisply, bringing them clearly into focus.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Using colored mists, mist a sturdy piece of paper, allowing colors to mix a little.  I used Bristol Vellum.
2. Stamp shells, starfish, and seahorses using distress ink.
3. Mist with water to intentionally blur your stamping.
4. Using clear embossing powder, heat emboss the dotted patterns.
5. Blend distress ink around the card front to bring out the clear dotted patterns.
6. Stamp text and fish.
7.  Adhere to card base.
SUPPLIES:
Strathmore - Bristol Vellum
Clearsnap - SMOOCH Spritzes
Tim Holtz - Distress Ink
Tsukineko - Black Stazon Ink

Good Thursday! We are on day 3 of our 4 day blog feature with licensed partner, Bella Blvd. This week we've been featuring the new licensed stamps by Bella Blvd and Hampton Art. Today we have 2 more fantastic cards created for you by our Design Team.

Hello!  Kim Holmes here with a card to share with you made from the adorable Kiss Me line from Bella Blvd along with the coordinating stamps from Hampton Arts! This line is so sweet, just like the sentiment says, “Sweet on You!”
I started off by stamping the ice cream cone image in both tan and pink for the cone and the scoop of ice cream.  Then I stamped the image in green on my white textured cardstock that I would be using for my banners.  After fussy cutting my images, I layered them on top of the green image to create my paper pieced cone.  After placing my patterned paper and banners on the card, I stamped the sentiment at the top!  Quick & Easy!
