Here’s a cute card from Gretchen McElveen and some Flashback Collection love !
I need a not-too-girly but still lovey-dovey anniversary card for my husband. But I always have trouble making masculine cards! Let's face it...making a cute card with bling and frills and ribbon is much more fun than a boring manly card. However, the Hot Date collection from KI Memories does have some blue, greens, and yellows in it so I thought I would see what I could come up with.
I did a lot of fussy cutting on this card by cutting out a few hearts and the chevron strips from 2 different pieces of patterned paper. The hearts may be a little girly, but I think I managed to keep the card somewhat masculine by using a lot of black and gray and then accenting with a little bit of blue, yellow, and green.
I decorated the inside of this card also so that I could actually write something there! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
