Hey there ladies and gents! We're so glad to see you today! So much is going on over here in little ole North Carolina and we're just so thankful to have you joining us today for our 8th Designer a Day post! These lovely ladies deserve so much love and praise, we're so thankful to have them on our team, so lets start out today with a great lady ...
Beverly Sizemore
Name/nickname you go by: Beverly or Bev
Where you live: Sulligent, Alabama
A brief statement about your household: I'm married to my best friend and we have two sweet daughters in high school and college. I also have "fur babies" (a Westie and three cats) who have no idea they're "only" animals
What's your crafty style & expertise: I love making cards which you will find in the various magazines like "Just Cards, Take Ten, Paper Crafts, etc." IF I have a style, it's fun and eclectic! One of my favorite things to do is take a vintage image and put a funny sentiment with it
How long have you been stamping: I've been stamping a LONG time (at least 16 years)
Your favorite color: I love red but recently I have a new favorite of chartreuse, after using it to pep up our den. It looks so pretty with a variety of colors!
Where do you draw your design inspiration from: Everywhere! I even dream about card and designs! I keep a pad and pen on the nightstand to jot down ideas before I forget them. Freud would say I'm a compulsive "card dreamer"...
Other design teams: The {Stamps} of Life
Favorite sweet treat: M&M's (especially the peanut butter ones) there's always a jar on the desk in my studio
Favorite salty treat: Fresh bag of BBQ potato chips (bad for you, I know, but ohhhhh so good)
One random/fun fact about you: I have a "thing" for Mona Lisa. Of course I have a collection of rubber stampswith Mona images. I also have several albums full of artist trading cards with nothing but Mona cards I've collected from artists all over the world. My daughters were so proud of themselves when they found a "Mona" mug for my hot tea in the mornings (which naturally makes it tastes better)
Check out this classy lady's work!
What a bold and beautiful design! She's so daring!
We simply adore these fresh colors and the "Hoppy Easter" preciousness!
We already feel like Beverly is a superstar to us, she is always getting published :) If you want to see more of her amazing work, head over to her blog http://bevscreativepath.blogspot.com
Tomorrow, we've got the lovely Wendy Morris!
