A sweet butterfly themed layout and 3 Christmas cards by Beverly Sizemore

Hi, Beverly here today to share a quick and easy scrapbook layout done with three different Hampton Art stamp sets.   I’ve always loved butterflies and even consider myself a “collector” (of butterfly rubber stamps).
I got my first hanging basket of Trailing Angelonia this summer and was thrilled to see butterflies “hanging out” with it.  So not only is the plant beautiful, it is useful for attracting butterflies (and hummingbirds) as well.

Stamps -- Hampton Art (IC0226 for Arrow, IC0162 for Tag and
                SC0525 for Butterfly)
Ink Pad -- Clearsnap, Inc. (Colorbox Archival Dye in Wicked Black)
Patterned Paper -- KI Memories (KI10062 Flutter Lovely/Ruffle)
Alphabet Stickers -- Glitz Design
Pearls -- Queen & Company
Baker’s Twine -- The Twinery
Misc. -- Black and White Cardstock

1.  Trim patterned butterfly paper to create border.  Adhere down
     left side of page.
2.  Stamp arrows with black ink on white cardstock.  Trim and adhere to
     top and bottom.
3.  Adhere photo between arrows.
4.  Create title by mounting alphabet stickers on black cardstock and then
white cardstock.  Adhere above and below photo.
5.  Stamp tag image with black ink on white cardstock.  Trim closely and
tie baker’s twine bow at end.  Do journaling on tag.  Adhere to lower
     right corner of photo.
6.  Stamp three butterfly images with black ink on white cardstock.  Trim
each and adhere as shown.  Adhere three pearls on each stamped

Hello my crafty friends…it’s Beverly today to share three cards.  You know how each year you say you are going to make Christmas cards BEFORE the holiday rush.  Yep, I say it every year too.  J  So don’t faint when you see these cards because I actually did it this year!   It’s easy to get a head start when you have pretty holiday images to work with like these from Hampton Art.  I kept the cards simple so it would not be “work” to reproduce several of them at a time.  So fa la la, get your stamps and inks out and get to work!  Just think how glad you will be when Christmas rolls around.
